Mailing List Information Page

The lists are simple subscription lists only. By singing up, you will receive the latest news regarding releases, upgrades, updates, and fixes. The lists do not currenty allow subscribers to post to them. This may be added at a later time, but for now the lists are for new information for the software. Comments can be sent to listmod@thecastle.com.

List Server Commands

All commands need to be send in the body of a message to listserv@thecastle.com

Command	Description
SUBSCRIBE list-name SUB list-name	Add the your address to the list
UNSUBSCRIBE list-name UNSUB list-name	Remove you from the list
LIST	Returns the available lists
SET list-name DIGEST	Set your list subscription to digest mode
SET list-name NODIGEST	Turn off digest mode for a list
SET list-name MAIL	Turn on delivery from a list
SET list-name NOMAIL	Turn off delivery from a list
STATUS list-name	Get your current subscription information for a list

WALTER-LIST	Alternity® Character Manager News List
SPLIT-LIST	SplitImage™ News List

NOTE: If you are not using the above form and are using a mail program like Outlook or Outlook Express that sends mail in HTML encoded format or any other non-text format, you MUST turn that feature OFF when sending commands to any mailing list server. In both Outlook and Outlook Express, there is an option to send mail in plain text format. Use this option when sending commands to this and other mailing list servers. Thank you.
